Booking Electronic Check In

This function is used Electronically Check In guest.

How to access:

To open the window, open the booking details of an existing reservation and click the Electronic Check In button.

The program can make use of a tablet PC to accept electronic signatures from the guest.

The table PC can be a Windows based computer with touch screen abilities, but this can also be a mobile device like a Ipad or a Android based touch screen device like Samsung Galaxy.

To make use of an Ipad or Android based touch screen device, an additional software is required that must be installed on the PC and on the mobile device. The software required is called “Air Display” and can be downloaded from this website: www.avatron.com.

After this software is installed and the PC is connected to the mobile device, this window can be transferred to the mobile device by clicking one of the Shift to tablet buttons  or , depending on how the connection has been set up.

Once the window has been transferred to the mobile device, the guest can then adjust/complete his details and sign on the mobile device. The guest can click the Confirm button to update the information and store the signature onto the computer.

The user can also remove the window from the mobile device by clicking the Recall Window button.

The text on the check in form can also be edited and formatted by right-clicking the text.

Note that the credit card number is not directly visible. It will become only visible if the user/guest clicks on it and if the user has sufficient access to this (See Setup → Users for more details)
